Style: Mead with Herbs & Spices

A semi-sweet mead (~20g/l residual sugar) infused with a tea of hibiscus, rosehip, licorice, cinnamon, and dried apples. The herbs provide a smooth structure to the mead with a lingering honey aftertaste. Ideally served at around 55 degrees (F), in a large red wine glass to allow development of the nose.
A good stand alone 'sundowner', a well matched partner to spicy dishes & stir fries, game & poultry, and a companion to desserts & coffees.
