Oktoberfest

Our Oktoberfest is brewed using a traditional step infusion mash using German Pilsner, Munich & Cara malts. Brewed to the style of a modern Oktoberfest, it pours a light amber in color with nice fluffy white head. It is hopped in our copper bottom kettle using German Tettnang & Spalt Select hops to balance out the malt character. After the boil it rests in our copper coolship for 1 hour and is then transferred over our baudelot cooler. Finally it undergoes a cool open fermentation using a traditional lager yeast. It is cellared for several months prior to release.
