D'UvaBeer

Style: Sour Ale
Birrificio Loverbeer, Marentino, Italy

While Beerbera is what happens when you start fermenting a wine and turn it into beer, D'Uva beer is a beer that's imbued with wine. No wild fermentation is needed for sourness, it gets a subtle sweet sourness from the fruit.

"A complex beer with great finesse and elegance getting three different souls. The fruity one with hints of strawberries, raspberries and red currant flavors, the citric-sour one with slight bitter lemony notes and the more tricky one which is characterized of off-flavors to be discovered. Despite the presence of sharp peaks of astringency, a "warming" mouthfeel could be felt after each sip." - By Lorenzo Dabove aka Kuaska

Fermented and matured in steel tanks
Ingredients: barley malt, Freisa grape, hops, sugar, yeast (top-fermenting)
