Drouin’s Jus de Poire Pétillant is made from the pressing of local pears such as Plant de Blanc, Rouge Vigné, Gros Blot, Plant Roux, Fossey, De Cloche and Gaubert.
The fruits are selected and blended for a perfect balance between pear flavors & aromas and their acidity.
After picking, the pears are milled with the resulting pulp undergoing the critical phase of maceration before it is pressed. This complex maceration serves to extract the delicate pear flavors as well as reduce the high tannin levels in pears. After pressing the pear juice is filtered & bottled.
