Ramato barrel, Channing Daughters Winery, New York
We matured this beer in barrels from Channing Daughters Winery, Long Island, for just under four months. The barrels were used by the winery to mature their 2010 Ramato. The Ramato is a 100% Pinot Grigio “orange wine”: white wine fermented like red wine, on grape skins to extract color & tannins & aromas. This keg was aged on the lees of the wine.
